Sub Sea Gauges

Sub sea gauges can come in two different types. One type is to measure the pressure of the process independent of depth. This type has a solid drilled case built to withstand the external pressures surrounding the case without effecting the actual process pressure. The other type is not independent of depth so the external pressure surrounding the case is also taken in to account. For example, if the gauge were 10 metres deep and the process was reading 1 bar the gauge would be reading zero.
