Diaphragm gauges are a pressure measuring instrument with a barrier between the process medium and bourdon tube measuring system inside the gauge. This is to keep the process medium from blocking or corroding a standard bourdon tube gauge. Diaphragms can be manufactured in many different exotic materials where the process medium can be very aggressive. They are also perfect for sanitary applications that can be hygienically cleaned.
