Electrical Contacts

Electrical Contact Switches for pressure gauges switch depending on the direction of movement. This will open or close electrical circuits at the set limit values by means of a contact arm which is moved by the gauge pointer. These can be single or double contact, supplied with a metre of cable and an adjustment key to be set by an end user.

Specification

Low Action Contacts - Are used in the absence of high contact loads and vibrations.

  • Nominal operating voltage: max. 250 V
  • Making and breaking current: max. 0,7 A
  • Breaking capacity: 10 W 18 VA
  • Switching precision: approx. 0,5 % of final scale value

Snap Action Contacts - Can be used under almost all operating conditions and are partially not affected by vibrations.

  • Nominal operating voltage: max. 250 V
  • Making and breaking current: max. 1,0 A
  • Breaking capacity: 30 W 50 VA
  • Switching precision: approx. 2-5 % of final scale value

Inductive Contacts - Are equipped with non touching proximity NAMUR switches. They should be preferable used with oil filled measuring instruments. With an ex-prooved isolating amplifier they can be used in explosion proof areas.

  • Rated voltage: 8 V DC
  • Switching precision: approx. 0,5 % of final scale value
